The GK/Retail Cash&Carry trade branch solution is a modern, innovative and very powerful solution for Cash&Carry enterprises. The solution is based on the GK/Retail Suite and, moreover, includes selected scenarios and functions for the handling of specific selling transactions in Cash&Carry stores.
GK/Retail for Cash&Carry was adapted to the specific requirements of this trade branch. For example, the solution considers the subdivision into acquisition points and payment points that is often used. However, if the store size does not require such a structure, the subdivision is not needed.

Here, GK/Retail Cash&Carry offers an optimal security with the GK/Retail POS solution component: For example, the cash register systems act completely automatically and independently consider the consolidation of the redundantly existing datasets. With the local data base, the cash register is also able to continue its work in the offline mode without any interruption. When the cash register can resume a contact with a server, it performs the data synchronization using a background service.
This functionality is particularly important in connection with the specifics of a Cash&Carry store voucher concatenations, the postponement of vouchers, the import of internal delivery notes as well as the access to deposited master data (customer data, conditions) require a continuous network functionality with access to the store server.
