Rainer Gläß
Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer
Rainer Gläß started his career in 1979 with studies of Information Technology at the Technische Universität Dresden. When he had gotten the final degree of a graduate engineer, he worked in various areas of the software development: initially, as application programmer followed by a work as project manager.
Together with his partner Stephan Kronmüller, in 1990, Rainer Gläß founded the G&K Datensysteme GmbH (today's GK SOFTWARE AG). Jointly with his partner, he managed the enterprise in a way that it has become one of the most important software providers for integrated store solutions in Europe. Today, the GK SOFTWARE AG has more than 165 employees Europe-wide.
Rainer Gläß together with his wife and his two children is living in Schöneck.
In his leisure time, he likes to read and to do a lot of sport. He bicycles and plays tennis. One of his great passions is the skiing. He is author of a book on the skiing.
Stephan Kronmüller

As Chief Technology Officer of the GK SOFTWARE AG, Stephan Kronmüller manages the development of all solutions and technologies.
He has the experience of a work of 20 years as software developer, consultant and manager in the IT area. Prior to his work for the GK SOFTWARE AG, he worked as development manager in the area of financial software. Together with his partner Rainer Gläß, in 1990, Stephan Kronmüller founded the G&K Datensysteme GmbH (today's GK SOFTWARE AG).
Stephan Kronmüller

a graduate engineer in the field of Informatics.
Ronald Scholz

As COO of the GK SOFTWARE AG, Ronald Scholz is responsible for all activities around the customers of the enterprise, the professional services and the customer support. He is member of the managing board.
Ronald Scholz studied at the Technische Universität Dresden. He has a final
degree of a graduate engineer in the field of Informatics.
André Hergert
Chief Financial Officer
Member of the Management Board
After studying business management and political science at the University of Lüneburg and Loughborough University, André Hergert worked as accounting manager and financial director at various companies in the financial and IT sectors starting in 1991. He was a partner at a management consultancy firm and concentrated on mergers and acquisitions, working as a strategy consultant and developing internal and external reporting from 2006 onwards.
André Hergert has been a member of the management board at GK SOFTWARE AG since 2008.
