In the last years, the GK SOFTWARE AG has passed an enormous further development. We have developed new solutions, services and technologies. We have attracted new partners, employees and customers. Our turnover has risen substantially, and we have taken measures that will ensure this strong growth for the future too.
With about 50,000 installations in more than 20 countries, we are one of the most important players in the international market for store solutions. Our market success is based on the high quality of our solution portfolio as well as on a forceful enterprise organization with which we realize even major international projects in shortest time.
Founded in 1990, already from 1997, we have consistently focused on Java as platform for all our solutions. Now, for nearly ten years, our GK/Retail solution suite is in the productive use. In this time, it has been continuously further developed on the basis of up-to-date technologies and open standards. In 2000, GK/Retail was the first branch store solution that was certified for SAP.
Whether mobile solutions, central architectures or the enterprise-wide control of thousands of branch stores in various countries, GK/Retail sets the trends on modern applications for branch store enterprises for years.
The fundamentals for our further growth are:
