Digital Content Management

The GK/Retail Digital Content Management program is the central software for distributing any amount of content to various output devices all over the company.

The GK/Retail Digital Content Management does not set any limits on the content or playback media. For example, it is possible to distribute photos, slide shows or videos to the appropriate systems within the corporation. GK/Retail Digital Content Management can also make available to the whole corporation pure text material, such as what is needed for electronic shelf labels, for instance. Each output device, which is capable of communicating through wired or wireless networks, can be managed by the GK/Retail Digital Content Management program. The output format is unimportant. The system uses the existing transmission paths within GK/Retail for communications to all stores so that there is no need for any additional software. The content can be automatically changed at set times. The system can manage several channels at the same time so that there is no restriction on the number of output devices.

Customer Screens

When using customer screens, the advertising materials are supplied to POS units via the GK/Retail Digital Content Management system. This is then able to handle various zones on the monitor and it can, for example, present photos or films in one area and various logos, for instance, in another.  

Digital In-Store Media

The GK/Retail Digital Content Management system can be used to activate any in-store medium that can be linked to a network. As a result, materials can be made available to various locations within stores. 

Other Output Devices

GK/Retail Digital Content Management is able to manage a wide variety of output devices. It is irrelevant whether they are kiosks, additional displays at self-checkouts, electronic shelf labels or shelf monitors. If the systems can be included in the network, there are no restrictions on distributing digital content.
