Rainer Gläß

Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer

Rainer Gläß began his career in 1979 at the Technische Universität Dresden where he graduated with a degree as an engineer in Information Technology. He went on to work in various areas of software development, beginning as an application programmer and advancing to project management.

In 1990 Rainer Gläß together with his business partner Stephan Kronmüller founded G&K Datensysteme GmbH (the forefather to GK SOFTWARE AG). Together they have successfully led the company to become one of the leading providers of store automation solutions in Europe.

In his spare time he enjoys reading and sports, including bicycling, skiing, and tennis. He is the author of a book on skiing, which is one of his greatest passions.

André Hergert

In 1991, after studying business management and political science at the University of Lüneburg and Loughborough University, André Hergert began working as an accounting manager and a financial director at various companies in the financial and IT sectors.

As a partner at a management consultancy firm, he concentrated on mergers and acquisitions and worked as a strategy consultant and developer of internal and external reporting from 2006 onwards.

André has been a member of the management board at GK SOFTWARE AG since 2008.

 
Michael Jaszczy

Chief Technology Officer
Management Board Member

As a member of the GK SOFTWARE AG management board, Michael Jaszczyk will manage the development of the various corporate software solutions.

Michael Jaszczyk has had many years of exhaustive experience both in the field of software development for the retail sector and also as the manager responsible for international IT corporations. He first became a CTO in 1999, initially for Pironet AG, and was then CEO at MCRL AG from 2003 until 2006. After returning to Pironet AG as CTO for a period of time, he became a member of the management board at SA2 Retail AG in 2009. He took over responsibility for managing the Open Scale business at GK SOFTWARE AG at the end of 2010 and was appointed to the management board on 1 November 2011.

Oliver Kantner

As a member of the GK SOFTWARE AG management board, Oliver Kantner takes responsibility for all the operating business associated with customers, corporate projects and the organization of the company.

Oliver Kantner, a graduate in business administration, has proven his worth as a retail expert and manager and has successfully managed large, international projects. After spending time at CSC Ploenzke and the Otto mail order corporation, he was head of the shop operations & development department at Tchibo and later took over as manager of the complete customer services. Before moving to GK SOFTWARE AG in the spring of 2011, he was senior customer services manager in Germany at Amazon.

Stephan Kronmüller

He has nearly 30 years of experience as a software developer, consultant, and manager in Technology. Prior to founding GK SOFTWARE AG in 1990 with his business partner Rainer Gläß, Stephan worked as a development manager in financial software.

Stephan graduated with a degree as an engineer of Informatics from the Technische Universität Chemnitz.
