- 8 weeks, 3 countries, 100 stores – New complete POS solution from RETAIL7 successfully implemented at BUTLERS
Berlin, Germany – Lifestyle brand BUTLERS, which has been offering everything related to home accessories, decorative items, and gifts for over 25 years, has teamed up with RETAIL7 to roll out a new checkout solution for over 100 stores in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in just eight weeks.
In less than eight weeks – from initial contact to go-live – Retail7 implemented a fully functional point-of-sale solution for more than a hundred stores in three countries for the lifestyle brand. The project not only included the implementation of classic POS functions, but also seamless integration into existing central systems and ensuring compliance with all fiscal requirements. The technical implementation was completed in record time. The new POS infrastructure was completely set up and rolled out within just three weeks.
In addition to RETAIL7's feature-rich standard SaaS solution, the complete integration into SAP S/4 HANA in a very short time was an important factor in the success. The company's voucher process, including server connection, was also reliably implemented. In addition, the homeCLUB customer loyalty program was successfully integrated.

Pilot and rollout in record time
The pilot system was set up in no time and then successfully tested at the company's headquarters in Cologne. Just one week later, 200 new POS terminals were centrally prepared by BUTLERS, delivered to over 100 stores, and set up with the support of Telekom.
Just three days later, all stores went live with the new POS system. This meant that the important Easter and spring business could continue without interruption despite the changeover. "The project shows what is possible with our lean, cloud-native SaaS POS solution. The combination of a preconfigured system, retail and ERP expertise sets new speed records in integration and project duration.
