Do you want to start a career in Java and work on real projects used by thousands of people around the world? Join us!
What can you expect?
- You will be involved in developing and improving our applications for retail chains around the world, such as Lidl, Adidas, Aldi, and many others.
- You will become part of the Czech development team, but you will also work directly with customers and other important members of the project from our company (consultants, testers).
- You will use Java, design and implement new software solutions and microservices, integrate various web services, and of course—test, debug, and write documentation (you really can't do without it).
- Since our customers are foreign, you will be communicating in English.
- Before we let you join an ongoing project, you will undergo training to prepare you for working on a real project.
What do we expect of you?
- You are studying at a technical university (ideally with a focus on software development).
- You can come to us for at least 48 hours a month. We are accommodating to all students during exam periods.
- You have at least a school-level knowledge of Java.
- You can work independently and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
- We would be delighted if you have experience with Maven, Spring, SVN, JUnit, Webservices, Swing, and Hibernate.
What do we offer?
- Rest is essential – 26 days of vacation + sick days.
- Offices in the center of Pilsen (Kalikovský mlýn) with private parking and covered bike racks.
- MultiSport card + many non-work sports activities.
- Relaxation zone with foosball and ping-pong – breaks are important too.
- Lots of events and experiences – board games, running, floorball, beach volleyball, children's days, parties... there's never a dull moment here.
- You need energy during the day – you can look forward to fruit days and healthy snacks.
- Monthly breakfasts together and ice cream days in the summer will save you.
- Programmers' backs deserve care, so we have a physical therapist right in the building and we'll even contribute to the cost.
- Open and friendly atmosphere – no formalities, we're on a first-name basis and leave the dress code at home.
And that's not all!
- Fair pay that will make you happy – we know that good work deserves good rewards.
- Room for growth – if you want, we'll help you move forward.
- Flexible working hours ensure that you can plan your work around your life.
- English courses with a native speaker – if you want to improve your language skills or just have a chat.
- And lots of other little things that will make you happy to come back to us.
