Are you studying computer science or a related field at FAV and want to get hands-on experience with real software development while still in school? At GK, we give you the opportunity to learn, try new things, and get involved in interesting projects.

What can you expect? 

• If you don't have any experience yet, don't worry. At Students Lab, we start with simpler (but still interesting) tasks – developing and implementing new features into internal applications, monitoring tools, and middleware. We also work on implementing AI into existing tools.
• You will use Python, Vue.js, PHP, Go, and database systems.
• You will learn to cooperate in development teams and work under the guidance of experienced colleagues who will guide you through everything.
• You will experience the entire development process – from requirements analysis and documentation to programming and deployment. You will see how it works in practice and gain valuable experience that will be useful to you (whether you stay with us or move on).
• You will work on projects that have visible results. We then use the developed solutions in our daily work.
• Students Lab is flexible in terms of working hours – you can arrange your work according to your school schedule.

Who are we looking for?

• Students in their 2nd to 5th year at FAV who are interested in development and eager to learn new things.
• To really learn something, you should work at least 48 hours per month. We will leave the work schedule up to you.
• We need you to have a solid foundation in Java or Python.
• If you also know other programming languages, that's a big plus.
• SQL is not a foreign language to you, and you know how to use it.
• You have no problem communicating in English.
• We have almost 20 students at Lab, so you should be a team player, but also able to work independently.
• We value initiative.
